Economics in One Lesson, eating an elephant, and Education for Business

Imahe
This is the third day that I have been consolidating my blogs. My task for today is to organize the articles I published in Economics in One Lesson, eating an elephant, and Education for Business. After starting the day with a study on Revelation 1:1-8, I now proceed to these blogs. Economics in One Lesson is also an unfinished project. I have lots of those. One topic will catch my attention and then I will start blogging about it, and along the way, I will lose the motivation to continue.  In Economics in One Lesson, I published three articles: the Preface, the Lesson, and the Broken Window and the Blessings of Destruction. Let me repeat here what I wrote about the Preface. In that article, I mentioned that the author, Henry Hazlitt, "introduced the nature of the content of the book." There he gave what the readers should expect in reading the book for them to appreciate its significance. My overall assessment of the book, though it was written in 1946, the author's ana

Christian Directory and Christian Entrepreneur

In my continued consolidation of my blogs, yesterday I was able to pick up articles, which I consider important from "A Father's Three Aces" and "Anything Goes". Today, as I continue with organizing my thoughts, I revisited two more blogs, "Christian Directory" and "Christian Entrepreneur". Christian Directory is an ambitious project aimed for young pastors and fathers.  This is not an easy task for the scope of the literature is vast covering Christian ethics, Christian economics, Christian ecclesiastics, and Christian politics. I am not sure if I still have the time to read them all and write my summaries and reflection of them. Imagine reading 2,335 pages on top of all my current tasks as an Academic Dean, as well as my duty to prepare for my class lectures. Turning to Christian Entrepreneur, my feeling is mixed. There is this feeling of loneliness and sense of satisfaction. Lonely, because I did not make it. Satisfied, because of the expe

Consolidating My Blogs

After more or less eleven years, something in our meeting yesterday in Academic Policy Committee that triggered me to consolidate my blogs. I think it was a discussion on the three different uses of the law. As I checked my blogs, I could not find the article I was looking for. I got frustrated. I could not even remember the exact names for the three uses of the law. Age is getting hold of me. Besides the three uses of the law, my mind is also drawn to think about several qualifications in the application of the first use of the law. Another article I want to recover is about the certainty of Christ’s victory and His church in history. In this attempt to collect all my blogs in one place, I realized how scattered my efforts are since 2009. I started many blogs, but I failed to continue them. I lack the perseverance to focus only in one thing. I got confused for what I am doing. Many of my articles I think cannot be recovered particularly those I posted on ezine, squidoo, odesk, g
